We visited and worshipped with Santa Claus United Methodist Church this past week in Santa Claus, Indiana. As you might expect, the town was filled with Christmas lights and the streets were named after Santa’s reindeer. It was a winter wonderland (minus the snow). Daraja had a special visitor come to the concert! None other than Santa Claus himself showed up to sing with us. In Africa, the kids know him as “Father Christmas”. Our time with him was full of joy and laughter. In the midst of all the fun, Santa took time to remind the kids that Jesus is the true reason that we celebrate Christmas.
Daraja is spending this week with Oak Bridge Church in St. Louis, Missouri. We have been kindly welcomed by families who will be hosting us for the Thanksgiving holiday! We are so excited to spend time together and give thanks to the Lord our God this week. Thank you to all of our Daraja family who love and support us. We are grateful for each and every one of you and hope to see some of you in December!
