The Daraja Choir had a unique “first” yesterday. Before last night’s concert in South Carolina, Daraja was part of a marriage proposal! One of our fall interns, Kim, was caught completely off-guard when her boyfriend showed up and proposed to her during sound check! Mitchell, Kim’s boyfriend, asked the choir to be part of the proposal by singing “their song” (Colbie Caillat’s “Falling For You”) during the engagement. So much fun!
