Yesterday Daraja declared their own holiday while on tour, Kenya Day! As part of the holiday, everyone dressed in Kenyan colors and painted their faces. All throughout the day the kids were singing songs in Swahili, and Kenya’s national anthem even broke out during the bus ride into Statesville. In the afternoon we played soccer and had arts and crafts time as the kids painted pictures of things that reminded them of Kenya!
