Ecclesiastes 3:11 – “He has made everything beautiful in its time.”
Yesterday morning we worshipped with First Wesleyan in Tuscaloosa. When we arrived yesterday we set up our store and Brightpoint sponsorship board like normal. During concerts we have been recruiting sponsors for kids from Kwambekenya and Karima (and so far 34 kids have been sponsored)! This Sunday the plan was to switch and put up kids from the Kiu community. However, God had a different plan.
Instead of changing the board and putting Kiu kids up for sponsorship, the Kiria community kids file was accidently grabbed and posted on our board. And after the morning concert two kids were sponsored!
After the service, the choir packed up and headed to Capstone Church for an evening concert. After setting everything back up at Capstone Church, one sponsor from the morning concert showed up. He wanted to meet one of the kids from the Kiria community. Well, as God would have it, the sponsor (Michael) ended running into Faith! He showed Faith the picture of his sponsored child and asked if she knew him. The boy getting sponsored was Faith’s brother! So incredible! Faith’s reaction was beautiful and completely heart felt. Faith got to meet her brother’s sponsor and tell all about her family before her brother even knew he was sponsored.
