Daraja has had a blast spending the past couple days in Montgomery, AL. While in town the choir spent time with some inner-city kids from the Common Ground community! Common Ground is an organization reaching out to impoverished and underprivileged kids in the Montgomery area (and they’re doing incredible work).
Yesterday Common Ground and Daraja came together and visited the Civil Rights Memorial in downtown Montgomery. Then later everyone enjoyed some hangout time at the Common Ground center. We finished out the afternoon singing a few songs together – so much fun! Check it out:
