We went and saw the white house, which I liked very much because it was beautiful. I really enjoyed seeing the different museums and the Washington Monument. We learned that it has different colors because there was a Civil War. The Metro was a very good experience because the trains in Kenya are so slow, and I really enjoyed going faster. But we also walked many places, which I enjoyed because it has been so long since I walked a long distance.
Before we went here, to me America was simply a place of so many people and beautiful buildings. But in Washington, DC I saw many different cultures and tribes. So far I have mostly seen people speaking English, but here people were talking in different languages. America has so many more things than other countries so that they can show other people “hey, you too can do this thing.”
