Nettleton, MS: by Gladys Wanjiru

While the choir only stayed in this town a single night, Gladys was so happy to come to Nettleton. She began the concert with a bad headache, but she thanks God because she had the strength to sing. As she sang, the headache left, and God filled her with love and joy so that many people could be touched.

Gladys was encouraged by her host home, who took her and the girls in her group in as her own children. The love and joy of the host made Gladys feel right at home.
