Join The Daraja Choir Intern Team!

We are looking for talented individuals who desire to use their gifts, talents, time and passion to help bring to life God’s wonderful story through the Daraja Children’s Choir.

Intern tasks include teaching, parenting, costume ironing, bus cleaning, lunch packing, inventory counting, spreadsheet writing, advocating child-sponsorship, merchandise selling, laundry folding, and host home loving. Through your love and sacrifice as an intern, you will experience tremendous spiritual growth and a fulfilling experience.

Intern Requirements:

  • Age: approximately 18-25 years old
  • Seek to glorify God in all things with a willingness to serve in many capacities
  • Lead with a servant heart

Details:

  • Age: approximately 18-25 years old
  • Take the children back home at the end of tour.
  • Raise Financial Support for the trip to Africa.

A Day In The Life of A Daraja Intern:

  • Be a knowledgable representative of the 410 Bridge and Daraja Choir at all times (in host homes, rest stops, churches, etc)
  • Disciple and love all of the Choir children in a Christ-like manner
  • Serve as a mediator between host families and the 2-3 Choir children staying in the home
  • Advocate for the children’s best interest in host homes through staying on schedule, encouraging appropriate food choices, and following all guidelines
  • Assist teachers during school time
  • Fulfill assigned roles during concerts
  • Take part in daily devotions and one-on-one time with Daraja tour directors
