Welcome to Daraja Children Choir of Africa
The music begins and the drums beat as the room fills with the sound of the Daraja Children's Choir of Africa. Dressed in their vibrant costumes with radiant smiles on their faces, the children express the joy and hope they have found in Christ through African song and dance.
Daraja is a Swahili word, which means "bridge." Twenty-four children are about to make the journey across the bridge all the way from Uganda to bring you a taste of African worship and praise. The Choir wishes to inspire you with the hope and love they have found in Jesus Christ, in spite of the severe hardships they have faced. Their performances are a blend of traditional African song and dance, as well as, contemporary Christian music. Through worship, the children share their hope in Christ in a unique and powerful way.
Get excited! The Daraja Children's Choir of Africa is embarking on multiple U.S. tours in 2013. You can bring the joy of this experience to your community, church, or event by scheduling a performance.
